About Paintings
I create oil paintings using the impasto technique in a post-impressionistic style, layering thick, flake-like brushstrokes into vibrant mosaics of color. My work blends impressionistic gesture with an expressionistic palette, allowing light, shadow, and the glow of the sun to take center stage. I create out of a deep admiration for nature: mountain peaks, the sea, and untamed landscapes. Using light, color, and form to draw the viewer into a vivid, wild, and sensory world, raw up close, luminous from afar.
My Painting style
Features bold, impasto brushstrokes forming a mosaic-like or
stained-glass effect. A rich color palette is used, with hues placed
side by side rather than blended, allowing each stroke to stand out with rich texture and dimension. Rooted in the traditions of impressionism, pointillism, and post-impressionism, the technique captures both movement and emotion through color and form.
Art ready to hang on your wall
My original oil paintings are created on premium 40 mm thick wooden gallery frames, hand-stretched by me with 380 gsm Italian canvas made of 40% linen and 60% cotton. Each painting is ready to hang straight on the wall and offers a rich, 3D look.
I also offer optional Floater Frames for my paintings. These frames are imported from Italy and hand-gilded by me in my Art Studio, adding an elegant, refined finish that beautifully enhances the artwork.
