DIRECTLY FROM ARTIST

“Tiger in lily pond” depicts  a hunter, prowling through territory. Primordiality, instinctive force captured. A balance between death and beauty of a nature.
Artist make it with graphic technique called linocut. It consists of creation a relief form of wood or linocut material, by cutting it out with special knives. I ink those with brayer, using lineseed Black ink that produces stunning, image of a White Tiger prowling through shallow waters. Then hand press it with printmakers barren reflecting the image on high-quality pure ethically produced, hand-drawn papers. This is a time-consuming process with no room for error demanding the highest quality craftsmanship.

MATERIALS

Paper:
Hand-drawn 300gsm paper made on 400-years old Paper mill from Duszniki-Zdrój Museum of Papercraft (UNESCO), created in traditional, hundreds years old methods.
The paper is eco-friendly and ethically produced 100% Cotton rag Acid-Free.
The paper has four deckle edges, a slightly cream color and a variable texture that give the print a charming, vintage look.

Dimension is 40×60 cm ( 15 3/4 x 23 3/4 in )

Ink:
Black inks made out of linseed oil and light-fast pigments.
Colors may vary depending on your computer screen.

I use only eco-friendly materials that can be recycled or reused.
